Upgrading your Xbox 360 Live !

Here is 10  Things to do after upgrading your Xbox 360 LIVE - NXE :

1. Start with a basic Avatar and then take some time to make your Avatar really look like you. Once you are done with that save a normal outfit set and then make fancy outfit set with a top hat and monocle.

2. Breath into a paper bag and try to remain calm. We are going to need to get over the fact that the NXE virtual grey floor is going to cover up most of your older themes thus making your exiting themes that you might have laid out valuable MS points for look bad-ish. Don’t worry because there are going to be new NXE themes and you can just use your own photos.

3. Pick your favorite disc based Xbox 360 game install it to your hard drive. They are going to run quieter and slightly faster since the data is going to come off the HD once the DVD drive verifies that you have the actual disc in the tray. But don’t pick Halo 3 because the file compression in it actually makes the load times off the hard drive slightly worse and don’t pick Crackdown since it can’t be installed. You don’t really need to install every game you own but it is still a pretty cool feature.

4. Hit the guide button and take a gander at the new in-guide blades. Get used to the new layout of the friends list and the quick launch list this since you are going to be using them daily.

5. Download the photo party application. Throw some cool photos on thumb drive and plug it into your Xbox so you can show your friends them.
6. Download the Netflix player application on your Xbox run it and get the activation code. On your computer to netflix.com/activate if you have both an Xbox Live Gold account and Netflix account. You to have to add stuff to your instant watch list on your computer and it will show up on your Xbox. Woot! Also turn off all downloads and file sharing on your network before you try to stream a movie off Netflix.

7. Invite your friends into a game party and throw it down in Gear of War or Rock Band.

8. Send your friends messages that make fun of their Avatar if it does not look like them. “Dude you are soo much heavier than that in real life!”

9. Make sure that background downloading is still enabled.

10. Take a snap shot of your Avatar and use that as your Gamerpic.
